Chair yoga is a gentle practice in which postures and breathing exercises are performed while seated or with the aid of a chair. Benefits include increased balance, circulation, strength, flexibility, range of motion, and stress reduction.
Chair yoga is recommended for those with arthritis, osteoporosis, cancer recovery, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, post-op rehabilitation, and others with limited mobility.
