A habit is defined as “a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.” We often dwell on negative habits, but a habit can have a positive influence in our lives.
That said, we don’t develop habits because they’re good or bad for us. We develop habits because those activities are advantageous, crucial for survival, pleasant, or rewarding in some way. Attend this workshop to playfully examine the habits that may or may not support your best life. Learn about the habit cycle that is deeply rooted in our brain and what you need to do to create lasting change.
In this workshop, you’ll meditate and journal writing about your own habits and what habits support your self-care. As a group, we’ll discuss the patterns of habits and what self-care habits are provided for us in the yoga tradition.
