Learn to Meditate Workshop

Research is providing evidence that mediation can help decrease stress, worry, and depression. Learn to Meditate helps you improve your mindfulness-based skills and teaches various techniques for meditating. Discover what tools you can use to reduce stress, anxiety, negative moods, and distracting thoughts. Learn what meditation really means to you and find a way to become calm and focused. Benefits of regular meditation include increased concentration, improved memory, and a sense of well-being.

Yoga and Reflective Writing: Discover the Energy of Money Workshop

How is money related to our second chakra? Do you believe that spirituality and money don’t mix? Do you avoid taking a hard look at you spending habits?

It’s time to step into your power with money and look at your patterns of behaviour. No matter what your income level or financial situation, we all have gifts and challenges when it comes to dealing with money.

The combined practice of yoga and journal writing, together with the Sacred Money Archetype assessment, reveal how your money beliefs relate to your sacral chakra.

Attend this workshop to stretch your body, increase your awareness through reflective writing, and ultimately reveal your money archetype. Please bring a journal, pen or pencil to write, and coloured pencil crayons or markers. We will be writing while sitting on the floor, so please make sure you have a hard surface to write on. Yoga and journal writing experience are not required.

Hip Opener Workshop

Need to get your hips moving without pain? Many of us sit or stand for the greater part of the day, which results in tight hips. In addition, mental and emotional stress are often held in our hips leading to joint stiffness and muscle aching. In this workshop, we will start by slowly moving the hip joint to activate the muscles. As we gain mobility, we will then focus on stretching the soft tissues and relaxing the connective tissues with yoga postures that are sure to provide a deep release.

Hip Opener Workshops are available to corporations to help their employees deal with the problems associated with sitting for extended periods. Contact Angela for details.
